Are we willing to listen to others who tell us what to do? Are we willing to put our trust in the government?
If so, why are we unwilling to listen to God, who stands above the government, if He tells us what to do and what is best for us?
There can be a thousand answers to this question. And I think the problem for a lot of people is this:
The message of the cross seems foolish to the one who doesn't believe in it. And that's exactly what the bible says. God uses the foolish message of the cross. It says that Jesus died for our sin and that whoever puts his or her trust in Him will have eternal life, to grant us salvation, to be forgiven and to be made right with God.
If you are willing to wear a mask for your temporal security, are you also willing to trust in Jesus for your eternal security?
