As Christians, we are set apart to serve God. In other words, we are made 'holy'.
Now, I've seen this scenario quite often at weddings: We sing along in church to music used to glorify God and give testimony (perhaps to our unbelieving friends and family). Then we sing along in the evening with music that goes against God's character and makes us less or even no longer recognizable as 'saints', people who have been set apart to proclaim the good news of Him (1 Peter 2:9) .
I feel that our testimony then contradicts our confession that we wanted to give during the service.
What do you think of it? And on what basis did you come to this conclusion?
