Tolerance seemingly has lost its meaning. And even when we did display it, its kind of an illusion. There will always be things that we refuse to tolerate as a society. We will always need shared boundaries and values. 
In conversation and discussion we can challenge each other's assumptions. But also learn to truly understand each other, even if we don't believe the same things. Let us re-discover that art of agreeing to disagree. 
Let us challenge false tolerance and not even settle for real tolerance. Let us go beyond merely tolerating the other and truly learn to love each other and live together.
